AB19946How do I use the Language Portal?

Using the Language Portal is no big deal. It’s quick, clean and hassle-free, and that’s why we suggest it to our clients. E-mails can get lost or misdirected, and telephone calls may be missed. Why run such risks, when you can present your requests right on your project manager’s dashboard?

The first thing to do, if you’d like to use the Language Portal: contact us to request the set-up, and the creation of custom login information for you and your team. We can also make arrangements provide your team with detailed portal instructions. We’ve provided online meetings or webinars for several of our clients; these have proven to be highly beneficial for the clients and for us. In a meeting or a conference call, your team can ask questions as they come up, and we can learn more about how you’ll be using the portal, and how frequently, and simply get a clearer picture of what you’re about, and how to serve you best.

Once in the Language Portal, you’ll be able to request quotes from us, or request orders if you’ve already got the go-ahead for the project. In either case, you can also upload your documents along with the request, and enter your timeline needs, your target languages, any essential project particulars, etc. How is this better than an e-mail? Because our project management team conducts all of their work on the other side of the portal. Not only does your portal request enter your project information directly into our translation management system, but the team will be alerted to it the moment they log in.

From there, you can expect the normal e-mail/telephone follow-up, with all of the usual questions… yet there’s more that the portal can do for you as the process continues. Contact us, and let us tell you about it!
