Remember our previous blog about Doris’ well-received presentation for the Atlanta chapter of the IABC? Well, this Wednesday was another eventful day for TrueLanguage, and it included another successful presentation. Over lunch and coffee at the Georgian Club, Doris gave a talk on “Communication Across Borders” to an engaged audience of Atlanta-area professionals in international marketing, real estate and web development. The questions were good, the discussion was enthusiastic… and the desserts were pretty excellent, too!
Later, after the end of the workday, it was time for Doris and CEO Uli Dendy to change into their evening gowns and head to Piedmont Park for another special event: the IABC’s Golden Flame Awards, for excellence in business communication. Spirits were high, in spite of the chilly evening, and business communicators in more than 30 categories were recognized as the rock stars they are. Everyone needs a chance to let their hair down sometimes – here’s a picture of Uli and Doris to show us how it’s done!
