Have you ever attended an event that affected the way you manage your business, and your life? That showed you how to take charge of your goals, achieve them, and help others to achieve theirs? That helped you to shape you as a leader?
On Friday, May 8th, Leadercast is giving its annual Leadercast Live event, at The Arena at Gwinnett Center, just to the north of Atlanta. This all-day gathering brings together figures of note, from fields as diverse as politics and sports, the media and the military, all of them known for their qualities of leadership, excellence and inspiration.
The watch-word for this year’s conference is bravery, and all of the speakers are known for showing great strength and courage under adverse, even life-threatening circumstances. If you can take part, you’ll get to share in the thought and experience of Malala Yousafzai, Aja Brown, Rudy Giuliani, Peyton Manning, Ed Catmull… and that’s only half of the lineup! And if you’re not in Atlanta, or can’t make arrangements to get here in time, the event will be simulcast to cities around the country. Visit the site, and find a place to sit down and take in the event.
Why are we mentioning this? Because this year, if you’re there, we’ll be there with you. TrueLanguage has the honor of providing simultaneous interpretation services for Leadercast, carrying the words of these brave leaders to listeners in Chinese, Portuguese, and Spanish. It’s taken a lot of doing to get ready for the event, and we’ll be using some serious technology to make it happen. Reaching across the world to share the best in thought and achievement… could there be a better use for language than that?
